Experience the excitement of panning for gemstones in Colonel Buhlow's Gem Stone Mine.

A fun and educational activity for all ages. $5.00 per gemstone miner.

                                              Step 1   Choose a bag of mining rough you wish to explore.

                                           

                                              Step 2   Carry your rough to the mining sluice made from native

                                                            wood with water flowing from a water barrel.

                                            

                                              Step 3   Slowly empty your mining rough into one of our screen

                                                            bottomed mining sluice trays, and swish the rough around

                                                            gently in the moving water.

Real gemstones will appear in your sluice tray. Identify your gemstones on your gemstone chart.

Anything you find is yours to keep!

Come back often to collect all the gemstones available.
